A big part of why I am riding the Great Divide Mountain Bike Ride is to support the work of Apprentice Learning, a great organization I am involved with and which I raise funds for each year through the Rodman Ride for Kids.
In 2020, so many organizations that assist children—including Apprentice Learning—were going the extra mile to develop new online programming to help kids who were out of school due to the pandemic.
So Molly and I decided we could paddle the extra mile and raised funds for Apprentice Learning during that challenging year by reimagining the Rodman Ride via canoe (a transportation mode with built-in social distancing advantages).
For 2022, we are almost half way to our fundraising goal—thank you!
Everybody had to get a little creative in 2020!
