TBT posts were drafted prior to departure
In 2021 I had an amazing duo join me for a “choose your own adventure” ride, my son Peter and daughter-in-law Nicole, who were visiting from São Paulo, Brazil.
I charted a 60-mile route that passed through many neighborhoods in Boston to represent the young people who are involved with Apprentice Learning, the great organization I volunteer with and which I raise funds for each year through the Rodman Ride for Kids.
From Hyde Park through Mattapan, Dorchester up to Southie, Eastie, Charlestown, back through Allston, Brighton, West Roxbury, Roslindale: Lots of good routes in Boston, especially on a Sunday morning. Peter and Nicole were originally only going to ride the first quarter of the route and take the train home but stuck with me for the full 60 miles in strength and amazing good spirits!
Many thanks to each of you who have made a contribution to the 2022 fundraiser. It’s a huge help to Apprentice Learning to have you in our corner.
